●PARP1 enzyme, human, highly active, baculovirus expressed
Description: Poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase-1 (PARP1 protein) is an abundant and ubiquitous nuclear enzyme that catalyzes the NAD(+)-dependent addition of ADP-ribose polymers on a variety of nuclear proteins. The Tulip Biolabs, Inc. PARP1 Enzyme, Cat. #2090, is highly purified human PARP1 protein, expressed in a baculovirus expression system. The PARP1 has a high specific activity, approx. 20000 U/mg (1U=10 fmol ADP-ribose incorporated into immobilized histone in 30 min @ RT). It is lyophilized from its native state under special conditions, and upon reconstitution with water, it retains its native poly ADP-ribosylation enzymatic activity. Purity by SDS-PAGE is >95%. Each vial contains 50 µg PARP1 (approx. 1000 Units).
●Use in high-throughput enzyme activity/inhibition assays
●Poly-ADP-ribosylation of target proteins
●Western Blot, 100 ng/lane using HRP/TMB colorimetric methods
●ELISA, 2 ng/well
●SDS-PAGE, 1 µg/lane
●As a standard in other assays
Supplied as: Lyophilized solid, 50µg/tube.
